Maximum photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) data for phytoplankton was collected continuously at one-minute intervals from seawater at 3 m depth on the RV L'Astrolabe from October 18 to 23, 2005, during a voyage from Hobart to Dumont d'Urville. The data, provided by the Australian Ocean Data Network, includes measurements taken in a dark-adapted state using Fast Repetition Rate Fluorometry (FRRF). These fluorescence parameters can be used alongside absorption cross-section and chlorophyll concentration to estimate primary production.
Data is provided in multiple formats (TXT, PNG, HTML, PDF); the specific content of each file type is not described.
