Model simulation outputs from the global ocean sea ice model FESOM2.1 used to study Atlantic Water warming effects on the 79N Glacier in Northeast Greenland. The data includes long-term and annual means of potential temperature, salinity, velocity, and basal melt rates from 1970 to 2021, as well as daily means from experiments with varying subglacial discharge and basal drag. The dataset was produced by Claudia Wekerle of the Alfred-Wegener-Institut Helmholtz-Zentrum für Polar- und Meeresforschung to support the findings of a specific research paper.
Data is provided in NetCDF format, which requires specific software libraries for reading and analysis.
