Seismic And Geophysical Survey Of The Mentelle Basin

Australia's Mentelle Basin, covering 36,000 square kilometers west of Cape Leeuwin, was surveyed for petroleum prospectivity. Geoscience Australia acquired 2,570 km of seismic data alongside gravity and magnetic measurements during the 2008-09 Southwest Margins survey. This work identified potential source rocks, reservoirs, seals, and multiple play types within the frontier basin.
