Goldak Airborne Surveys conducted a high-sensitivity aeromagnetic survey for the Geological Survey of Canada between January 25 and March 26, 2011. The survey collected 37,999 line kilometres of high-resolution magnetic data over the Nisling River area (NTS 115 J/2 and part of 115 J/3). Traverse lines were flown at a 400 m spacing with control lines at 2400 m separation and a nominal terrain clearance of 100 m.
