Yukon's Nisling River area was surveyed by Goldak Airborne Surveys for the Geological Survey of Canada in early 2011. The survey collected 37,999 line kilometres of high-resolution magnetic data via 82 flights, with traverse lines spaced 400 meters apart. It used cesium vapour magnetometers and differential GPS for precise positioning.
