Eagle Plains Aeromagnetic Survey First Vertical Derivative Map, Yukon

Government of Yukon provides a map of the first vertical derivative of the magnetic field derived from an aeromagnetic survey flown between April 10, 2009 and September 16, 2009. Data were recorded using cesium vapour magnetometers mounted on aircraft flying at a nominal terrain clearance of 250 m, with traverse lines spaced 800 m apart. The levelled magnetic data were interpolated to a 200 m grid, and the International Geomagnetic Reference Field was not removed.
