Description
Five galaxy rotation-branch outliers are analyzed in peak-normalized coordinates for early-closure behavior. The dataset, created by Chris Shreenan-Dyck and updated in June 2026, contains derived audit tables, source products, and validation outputs for the galaxies UGC09037, UGC05986, NGC4217, NGC6015/UGC10075, and NGC4100. It serves as an empirical supplement for reproducibility of the manuscript's classifications.
Use Cases
Reproducing early-closure classifications based on the provided peak-normalized coordinate analysis.
Validating outlier behavior in galaxy rotation branches based on the saved source products and derived tables.
Comparing specific structural phenomena like radial-flow loading or sharp-sector boundaries across the five audited cases.
Benchmarking rotation-curve analysis methods against the documented empirical audit results.
Strengths
Includes a specific audit of five named galaxies (UGC09037, UGC05986, NGC4217, NGC6015/UGC10075, NGC4100).
Provides reproducibility materials like source products, derived tables, and a validation script.
Contains final per-galaxy summary tables with specific classifications for each case.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The dataset is not a new observational data release or a full modeling package, limiting its scope.
