Fernanda Pinto Ferreira conducted a serological survey of 598 dogs from 1993 to 2013 to detect antibodies against T. gondii. The study found 259 (43.31%) of dogs with clinical signs were positive, with titers ranging from 16 to 4096. The most frequent clinical signs observed were neurological (30.43%) and uveitis (8.03%).
