1,000 pollen grains were analyzed per genotype in a study by Embrapa Wheat to infer genetic stability. The research assessed hexaploid triticale genotypes in a Brazilian breeding program using optical microscopy and acetic carmine staining. Data includes counts of binucleate and trinucleate pollen grains, grains with little starch, empty grains, and those with more than one pore or different sizes.
