Description
11 RT027 isolates were collected from Shandong, China and analyzed using whole-genome sequencing, comparative transcriptomics, CRISPR-Cas analysis, and pan-genome profiling. Phenotypic assays measured toxin production, sporulation, antimicrobial resistance, and motility. The dataset was authored by Wenjia Wang and last updated on 2026-03 -17.
Use Cases
Comparative genomic analysis of virulence factors based on the presence of tcd and cdt loci.
Studying antimicrobial resistance patterns based on the reported rifamycin and aminoglycoside resistance genes.
Analyzing evolutionary divergence and lineage formation based on the described phylogenetic relationship to FQR1.
Investigating the correlation between gene expression (e.g., cdtAB, spo0A) and phenotypic traits like sporulation and motility.
Strengths
Includes multi-omics data from 11 isolates, combining genomic, transcriptomic, and phenotypic assays.
Provides specific findings on gene presence (complete tcd and cdt loci) and resistance genes.
Dataset is 6.5 MB in size, making it relatively quick to download and inspect.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
The sample size of 11 isolates may limit the generalizability of findings.
