Description
Geospatial data from UNITAR/UNOSAT illustrates satellite-detected damage and destruction in Kobane, Aleppo Governorate, Syria. The analysis identified 3,167 affected structures within the mapped area, including 1,167 destroyed, 1,155 severely damaged, and 845 moderately damaged. A total of 979 impact craters were also identified within the city and its immediate surroundings.
