GeoEye-1 Satellite Imagery Archive From ESA Projects

An archive of GeoEye-1 satellite products requested by European Space Agency projects for areas of interest globally. The collection includes panchromatic imagery at up to 40 cm resolution and multispectral 4-band products at up to 1.65 m resolution, with multiple processing levels. The dataset is maintained by ESA and was last updated in July 2020.

Use Cases

• Create high-resolution land cover maps using the 4-Band Multispectral product's separate Blue, Green, Red, and NIR1 channels.
• Perform stereo photogrammetry and generate 3D models using the View Ready Stereo or Ortho Ready Stereo product types.
• Analyze urban development or agricultural changes over time by comparing Panchromatic Standard (GIS_PAN_2A) or 4-Band Standard (GIS_4B__2A) images from different acquisitions.
• Produce pan-sharpened visualizations for presentation or analysis using the Natural Colour or Coloured Infrared product options.
• Conduct topographic analysis using STANDARD (2A) products which are normalized for topographic relief.

Strengths
