USGS geologic map database depicts bedrock and surficial deposits at a 1:24,000 scale for the Spreckels 7.5-minute quadrangle in Monterey County, California. The database includes polygon, line, and point coverages showing faults, rock units, strike and dip information, and landslide indicators. It was compiled from published, unpublished, and new mapping data by the U.S. Geological Survey.
Data is provided in legacy Arc/Info export (.e00) and plot file formats (PostScript, PDF); requires compatible GIS software for full use. The map does not replace official fault-rupture hazard zones designated by the California State Geologist.
