Geological mapping covers an area of approximately 1,000 square kilometers in the Robinson Peak, Sponsors Peak, and Mt Bastion region of South Victoria Land, Antarctica. The project was conducted by SCIOPS with the aim of detailing coal-bearing formations and associated strata. Fieldwork and data collection were completed around 1985.
