Southeast Tasmania Shelf Reef Bathymetry Video from 2008-2009 Sonar

Southeast Tasmania's shelf bathymetry is visualized in a flythrough movie derived from multibeam sonar collected in 2008 and 2009. The data highlights rock reef habitats, including low-relief reefs near Freycinet and Tasman Peninsulas and high-relief reefs around Hippolyte Rocks. Survey work was a collaboration between Geoscience Australia and the University of Tasmania's Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies.
