Geoscience Australia Marine Survey SS06/2006 Post-Survey Report: Natural Hydrocarbon Seepa

Geoscience Australia's 2006 survey acquired over 70 Gb of geophysical and oceanographic data and 140 sediment, water, and video samples from the central North West Shelf. The RV Southern Surveyor collected this data between 29 May and 22 June 2006 to investigate natural hydrocarbon seepage and modern sedimentary processes. This report provides direct evidence for assessing the petroleum system in the Offshore Canning and Roebuck basins.
