GHRSST Level 3C Indian Ocean Sub-Skin Sea Surface Temperature from MSG/SEVIRI

The Indian Ocean region from 60°S to 60°N and 101.5°E to 18.5°W is covered by this gridded sea surface temperature dataset. It is produced by the Ocean and Sea Ice Satellite Application Facility (OSI SAF) from the SEVIRI instrument on the Meteosat-8 satellite, using a multispectral algorithm corrected with atmospheric profiles. Hourly products are generated by compositing 15-minute data onto a 0.05-degree regular grid in compliance with GHRSST Data Specification version 2.
