GLARE: Global Lake Atlas Linking Research Topics with Morphology

Global metadata from 58,024 peer-reviewed publications on 2,542 lakes, assembled by researchers from Peking University. The dataset combines literature-derived research topics with lake and watershed attributes from sources like HydroATLAS, NOAA PSL, GCP, and HILDA+. GLARE is designed to address global lake challenges and strengthen research in underrepresented regions.
