SRTM30_PLUS v8.0: Global Hillshading Rasters for GIS

Global hillshading rasters derived from the SRTM30_PLUS v8.0 Digital Elevation Model developed by Scripps Institute of Oceanography, UCSD. The dataset includes a full-resolution and a lower-resolution, smoothed version for zoomed-out map displays. It was processed and reformatted by the NERP TE 13.1 eAtlas project to facilitate easy use in GIS applications.
