A global map of soil liquefaction susceptibility, created by Conrad Zorn of the University of Oxford using the geospatial prediction models of Zhu et al. (2017). The dataset applies separate coastal and inland models and classifies susceptibility into five levels from very low to very high. Input data for the models includes features such as river networks, groundwater depth, precipitation, land data, and Vs30 shear-wave velocity.
The dataset is intended for preliminary, regional-scale planning; generating probability maps requires an additional peak ground velocity (PGV) intensity term.
