Global National Identifier Raster Grid from GRUMPv1

Global raster data assigns a unique value to each pixel representing a nation or territory. The dataset was produced by Columbia University's CIESIN in collaboration with IFPRI, The World Bank, and CIAT. It was last updated in July 2010.
