GPM 3GPROF METOP-C: Global Daily Precipitation Grids

Version 07 is the current version of the data set. 3GPROF products provide global gridded daily precipitation averages from multiple satellites, including METOP-C, for climate studies. The data are based on retrievals from high-quality microwave sensors sensitive to liquid and ice-phase precipitation hydrometeors in the atmosphere, produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
