GPR and GPS data capture the internal layering and surface characteristics of snow megadunes across a 60 km² study area on the East Antarctic Plateau. The dataset was collected during two field seasons in 2002 and 2003-2004 by researchers from the AMD_USAPDC. It aims to refine models of dune formation and assess their impact on paleoclimate records derived from ice cores.
Data formats are mixed: GPS data is in space-delimited ASCII text and Microsoft Excel formats, while GPR data is in JPEG format. Data is accessed via FTP.
