Amazon River Sediment Grain Size and Water Velocity Profiles, 2005-2008

Amazon River sediment samples and water velocity profiles collected during four sampling campaigns from 2005 to 2008. The dataset contains grain size distributions from the lower Amazon (Brazil), Upper Madeira (Bolivia), and Upper Solimões-Amazonas (Peru), alongside Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) velocity profiles from major tributaries in Bolivia and Peru. Data were acquired by researcher Julien Bouchez with support from the French National Service for Observation HYBAM, part of the CNRS infrastructure OZCAR.
