Great Barrier Reef Benthic Habitat Map at 10m Resolution

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is mapped for benthic habitat types at a 10-meter resolution. The map was produced by the Remote Sensing Research Centre at the University of Queensland using machine learning applied to over 100,000 geolocated photos and satellite imagery. This snapshot was taken in January 2023.
