GSDM-WBT: Global Station-Based Daily Maximum Wet-Bulb Temperature, 1981-2020

GSDM-WBT provides a 40-year global record of daily maximum wet-bulb temperature, an integrated measure of heat and humidity critical for studying extreme humid heat. The dataset was produced by Jianquan Dong of Peking University through quality control and homogenization of HadISD station observations and NCEP-DOE reanalysis data. It contains complete daily series for 1,834 stations worldwide from 1981 to 2020.
