NESP MaC 2.1: Functional Reef and Ecosystem Component Habitat Maps for Temperate Australia

Two Bayesian models characterise seafloor habitats across southern Australian shelf waters. The first model discriminates 'functional reef' from sediment, while the second distinguishes five broad ecosystem components like seagrass and macroalgae. Outputs from the Australian Ocean Data Network include mapping services and data packages derived from bathymetry, benthic imagery, and oceanographic covariates.
