Hospital stays and emergency room visits involving hallucinogen use in Canada increased by 39% and 32% respectively over ten fiscal years. Health Canada produced this report analyzing trends by age, sex, harm type, and province from 2014-15 to 2023-24. The steepest increase in rates coincided with the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
