Records from 1994 onward were used to model the current indicative distribution of the critically endangered Hanley's River Snail in New South Wales. The NSW Department of Primary Industries created this dataset by collating species records and modeling probabilities of occurrence using MaxEnt software with 30 stream variables. The data integrates the Australian Hydrological Geospatial Fabric V2 network, National Environmental Stream Attributes Database, and River Styles® geomorphology classifications.
Data is supplied in multiple geospatial formats (PDF, WMS, ESRI REST, WFS, KMZ) rather than a simple tabular format, which may require specific GIS software for analysis.
