Hawaii Coral Reef Benthic Data and Images from 2017

Ten transects of digital still images and derived benthic data from six sites on Oahu and Kauai, collected between May and August 2017. The Hawaii Coral Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (CRAMP) gathered this data using PhotoGrid software to analyze substrate type and species identification at random points on images. NOAA/NESDIS/NCEI archives this dataset as part of a state-wide monitoring effort that has occurred quasi-annually since 1999.
