Description
Synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements for five lithium-group IV compounds (LiSn, Li₇Sn₂, Li₁₇Sn₄, LiGe, Li₁₂Ge₇) under pressures up to 10–30 GPa. The dataset, 19.7 KB in size, contains pressure-dependent unit-cell volume and bulk modulus data derived using the Murnaghan equation of state. It was authored by A. Echida and last updated on 2026-05-15.
Use Cases
Modeling bulk modulus trends based on lithium fraction across Li-Sn, Li-Ge, and Li-Si systems.
Validating theoretical predictions of structural stability for Li-group IV compounds under high pressure.
Benchmarking the mechanical properties of potential negative-electrode materials for battery applications.
Strengths
Data for five specific lithium-group IV compounds (LiSn, Li₇Sn₂, Li₁₇Sn₄, LiGe, Li₁₂Ge₇) is included.
Pressure-dependent measurements were conducted up to 10–30 GPa using synchrotron X-ray diffraction and a diamond anvil cell.
Bulk modulus and unit-cell volume were determined using the Murnaghan equation of state.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
The dataset is small (19.7 KB), indicating a limited scope.
