The Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System (SPARCS) Inpatient De-identified File contains discharge-level detail on patient characteristics, diagnoses, treatments, services, and charges for 2019. This de-identified data from health.data.ny.gov includes 29 columns such as Facility Name, Hospital County, Length of Stay, and Total Charges. The data is HIPAA-compliant, with all protected health information redacted.
Date fields have day and month portions removed for de-identification, which may limit temporal granularity for some analyses.
