Hourly data from 11 September 2008 to 31 December 2013 records air temperature, soil temperature at 5cm and 20cm depths, and soil moisture from the Climoor experimental field site in Clocaenog Forest, North-East Wales. The dataset originates from a long-running climate manipulation experiment that used automatic roof technology to warm plots by 0.5–1°C and simulate repeated summer droughts from July to September annually. This data supports modeling the impact of warming and drought on Atlantic upland moorlands, with identical experimental sites replicated across five other European countries.
This dataset is marked as '[WITHDRAWN]' on all listed platforms (eu_open_data, uk_data). Access may require contacting the data holder via the persistent DOI: https://doi.org/10.5285/124ae988-41d3-4555-b704-5acc85633a05.
