Geoscience Australia's integrated geological and geophysical interpretation of the GA-349 seismic survey, aimed at improving understanding of the Houtman Sub-basin's crustal architecture and magmatic rock distribution. The study incorporates about 26,000 km of gravity and magnetic data from 2008-2009 surveys and new 2D seismic reflection data from 2014/15. It uses potential field modelling to validate seismic interpretations and model density and magnetic susceptibility variations within the sedimentary section and basement.
