Description
Motion capture, keylog, eye tracking, and video data were collected from 30 participants performing a transcription task in English or Finnish. The dataset compares self-taught typists with those trained in touch typing, revealing differences in performance, gaze deployment, and movement strategies. It identifies three motion-based predictors of high typing performance.
