Hybrid Gridded Demographic Data for China, 1979-2100

A hybrid gridded dataset of demographic data for China from 1979 to 2100, given as 21 five-year age groups of population divided by gender every year at a 0.5-degree grid resolution. It combines historical data from NASA SEDAC GPWv4 and ISIMIP Histsoc with projections from Chen et al., covering 31 provincial administrative districts. The dataset was created by Zhao Liu of Tsinghua University.
