128 temperature and salinity profiles were collected along a nine-station transect in Palm Passage, central Great Barrier Reef, during 1983. Water samples for inorganic nutrients and phytoplankton pigments were taken at 100 stations, with intensive sampling during five late-summer cruises. The dataset was contributed by the Australian Ocean Data Network.
