Hydrostatic Compression Tests on Apulian Carbonate Platform Limestone Samples

Ten limestone samples from the Altamura Formation were tested under hydrostatic compression at confining pressures up to 80 MPa. The dataset includes mechanical measurements like axial stress and strain, as well as geophysical data from ultrasonic surveys and acoustic emission monitoring. Experiments were conducted by researchers at the British Geological Survey using an MTS815 Rock Testing System.
