72 spectral bands in the visible and near-infrared range were collected by the AURORA hyperspectral imaging system at a 3-meter pixel resolution. This data was developed by NOAA, the University of Hawaii, and Analytical Laboratories of Hawaii to create and compare coral reef habitat maps. The project was conducted around the year 2000.
