72 spectral bands in the visible and near-infrared range were collected by the AURORA hyperspectral imaging system for the Hawaiian island of Lanai. This dataset was created for developing coral reef mapping methods by a collaboration between NOAA's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, the University of Hawaii, and Analytical Laboratories of Hawaii. The data was processed and published around the year 2000.
License information is unknown. The primary purpose was methodological development for coral reef mapping.
