A high-quality chromosome-level genome assembly of the plant species Primula sinensis. The 2.09Gb assembly was generated using PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing and Hi-C scaffolding, anchored onto 12 pseudo-chromosomes. Genome annotation identified 28,692 protein-coding genes.
Use Cases
- Comparative genomics studies based on the chromosome-level assembly.
- Gene family analysis and functional annotation based on the 28,692 identified protein-coding genes.
- Investigating genome evolution and structure based on the assembly metrics like Contig N50 of 40.00 Mb.
Strengths
- High-quality assembly with a Contig N50 of 40.00 Mb.
- Chromosome-level assembly anchored onto 12 pseudo-chromosomes.
- Comprehensive annotation identifying 28,692 protein-coding genes.
Limitations
- Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
- Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
