ICEWS: Weekly Coded Socio-Political Events from News

Event data consists of coded interactions between socio-political actors, automatically extracted from news articles by the BBN ACCENT event coder. The dataset was discontinued on 11 April 2023. A related dataset, POLECAT, is available at doi.org/10.7910/DVN/AJGVIT.
