Soil Erodibility Measurements and Spatial Variability in the Pântano River Basin

Nine indirect methodologies were tested on 103 soil samples from the Pântano River Hydrographic Basin in Brazil. The final map indicated erodibility as medium (46.4% of the basin), low (45.1%), very low (0.5%), and very high (7.9%). This study by César Gustavo da Rocha Lima found that using a single indirect methodology may underestimate or overestimate soil erodibility.
