Twenty-nine juvenile southern bluefin tuna were implanted with acoustic tags to study their movement in relation to an upwelling event in the Great Australian Bight. Fifteen individuals were detected 941 times over 62 days, with presence linked to water temperature changes. Parks Australia provides this dataset, originally from the Australian Marine Parks Science Atlas, to highlight research relevant to Australian Marine Parks.
