Geoscience Australia assessed the Vlaming Sub-basin for CO2 storage, estimating a capacity of up to 1 gigatonne in the Gage Sandstone reservoir. The study integrates seismic, well, and marine datasets to model storage potential and seal integrity risks. This work, part of the National CO2 Infrastructure Plan, was published by the Australian Ocean Data Network.
