CO2 Storage Assessment in Offshore South Perth Basin

Geoscience Australia conducted an assessment of CO2 storage potential in the Vlaming Sub-basin. The study integrates seismic, well, and marine datasets to analyze the Gage Sandstone reservoir and South Perth Shale seal. It estimates a storage capacity of up to 1 gigatonne of CO2.
