CO2 Storage Assessment for the Offshore Vlaming Sub-basin, Australia

Geoscience Australia conducted an assessment of CO2 storage potential in the Vlaming Sub-basin offshore Western Australia. The study integrates seismic, well, and marine datasets to analyze the Gage Sandstone reservoir and South Perth Shale seal, estimating a capacity of up to 1 GT of CO2. This work supports the Australian Government National CO2 Infrastructure Plan.
