Multi-Sector Needs Assessment of Refugees in Kurdistan Region of Iraq, 2018

A fourth-round household-level analysis of sector-specific needs and vulnerabilities for Syrian, Iranian, and Turkish refugees in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, conducted in 2018. IMPACT, in collaboration with UNHCR, conducted this assessment to inform the 2019-2020 Regional Refugee & Resilience Plan. The study builds on previous MSNAs to assess continued vulnerabilities.

Use Cases

• Identify priority sectors for humanitarian intervention based on assessed household-level needs.
• Analyze vulnerabilities among different refugee populations (Syrian, Iranian, Turkish) based on the multi-sector assessment.
• Inform regional refugee and resilience planning (3RP) based on the findings of continued vulnerabilities.
• Compare needs across infrastructure, protection, education, shelter, health, food security, WASH, and livelihoods sectors.
