Description
An experimental seismic survey conducted in 1957 within the Eromanga Sub-basin of the Great Artesian Basin. The data reveals at least 8,000 feet and possibly up to 16,000 feet of sedimentary section, with two important seismic refractors recorded at depths of approximately 2,700 and 7,250 feet. The survey was conducted by Santos Ltd. and contributed to preliminary mapping of subsurface structures.
