An experimental seismic survey was conducted at Haddon Downs, South Australia, during October and November 1957. The data, provided by Geoscience Australia, reveals a sedimentary section potentially 16,000 feet thick and identifies two key seismic refractors at depths of 2,700 and 7,250 feet. This work was performed by Santos Ltd. to investigate subsurface structures for petroleum exploration within the Eromanga Sub-basin.
